Rock)-Mawlamyine-Bago-Yangon (6 Days / 5 Nights)
Itinerary:
Day 01 Yangon
Arrive at Yangon International Airport
and transfer to hotel. Start Yangon sightseeing by visiting
Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha Image), Karaweik Hall, Royal
barge on the Royal Lake, Sule Pagoda, Maha Bandoola Park
with Independent Monument, China Town with the fruit market
and World famous Shwedagon Pagoda with the golden dome light
up sunshine at sunset. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day02 Yangon-Kyaikhtiyo
Drive to Kyaikhtiyo. Arrive at Kinpun
base camp at the foot of the mountain ridge. Take an
open-truck along a steep and rough road to get to Yathey
Taung upper camp. Then walk up some 500 meters to get to the
Golden Rock. Four porters at an extra with sedan chairs can
be hired if you wish. Enjoy the beauties of sunset and dawn
at this site. Overnight at hotel in Kyaikhtiyo.
Day03 Kyaikhtiyo
Hike around the mountain range, take
photos of the scenic beauty observe the ways of life of the
natives, observe the herbs and the herbalists and relax.
Overnight at hotel in Kyaikhtiyo.
Day04 Kyaikhtiyo-Mawlamyine
Drive to Mawlamyine and drop in Kawgoon
Cave on the way. Sightseeing around the city. Overnight at
hotel in Mawlamyine.
Day 05 Mawlamyine-Bago-Yangon
Drive to Bago. Visit Shwemawdaw Pagoda,
Hinthagone Shwe Tha Lyaung Reclining Buddha Image and Bago
Market. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day06 Yangon
Visit Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market to
buy souvenirs, handicrafts, gems and jewellery. Transfer to
airport for departure. |
