Pyay

It is one of the tourist sites and visiting spots worthwhile bestowed upon the glory of ancient Pyu city Thirikhittra (Sriksetra). It is now located on the eastern bank of the Ayerwaddy River, it lies some 180 miles to the north-west of Yangon and easily accessed by means of motor-road, railway and waterway. Pyay is highly regarded as the legendary place and historic golden land for Myanmar Buddhists and the grand archaeological site, hospitality natives and enjoyable gardens for the international travelers.

Shan State

Different from the natures of dry-zone in central Myanmar and tropical monsoon of lower Myanmar, the entire Shan state, geographically the eastern plateau and the largest size in area among the 14 states and Divisions of Myanmar, is fallen in the temperate zone resulting cold most of the year, round. Addition to the diversities of ethnic groups and flora and fauna, some of Shan localities are well-known for the international travellers for years. Pyin Oo Lwin

Pyin Oo Lwin, the most beautiful summer resort and enjoyable hill-station, lies between 96° to 97° East Longitude and 22° North Latitude. Geographically, it is located on the western part of Shan plateau and set on a vast plain enclosed by deciduous forest around under the atmosphere of temperate. Weather and bloom of horticultural flowers
are all around the year. Best known for enrichment of biodiversities, beautiful mansions and other buildings in terraced pattern, assume a European style and fantastic world.
After dry-zone in Patheingyi Township, the up-hill journey stats and the scenery and natural environs gradually change. After half an hour driving, the mid-way camp of view-point and 21 miles camp arrives to enjoy the panoramic view of Mandalay palace enclosed by water-moat, the golden spires and white-washed stupa, skyscrapers, the crest of the Ayerwaddy River, grand Innwa Bridge, and the green Sagaing Hill.

Mandalay

Mandalay is officially known as Yatanabon (pile of Gems) and always associated with its grand palace of Mya Nan San Kyaw. The area is something about 25 square miles
assuming the pattern of a chess-board, supposed to be the most beautiful ground-plan and capital in Asia, may be in the world. Unlike palaces in the other countries, the palaces of successive Myanmar kings throughout the ages contained many individual buildings which were identified according to their functions. Mandalay is known for many reasons as the centre of Myanmar traditional arts and handicraft, the landmark Mandalay hill and the two-snakes, the most beautiful city-plan and the grand palace, the world biggest book, business centre, and so on.

Innwa

Innwa is seemed to be an island city of a city with water-ways in its kingdom and is similar to "Venice of Italy". The city-plan, the most beautiful ground-plan in Myanmar
may be in Asian region. The city was built in square, like rectangle pattern with some projections. It was oriented for the city-plans of Ayuthia (modern Thailand), Amarapura and Mandalay.

Amarapura (The City of Immortality)

It is one of the ancient cities. There are many historic buildings and monuments just like Mahagandaryon monastic compound, Taungthaman Lake, U Bein Bridge, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda and the striking handicraft of silk weaving industries. Surprisingly, the old city of Amarapura is still the major visiting point by 5 major historic buildings;
the romantic sunset on the bridge over the Taungthaman Lake, Mahagandayon monastic compound, Taungmingyi Pagoda, an avenue of Meze trees and Mahawizayaramthi Kyauktawgyi pagoda.

Monywa

It is located on the east bank of Chindwin River, some 86 miles or 3 hours drive from Mandalay, and also the gate-way to west region, Naga land and Chin-hills. The economy of the region is mainly based on timber-extraction and cultivation of corn and so on. Blanket industry of Monywa should be studied. The following points in
Monywa’s environs are the commonest visiting.

Rakhine

It is the western coastal region of Myanmar and apart from mainland Myanmar by means of Rakhine mountain ranges. Local histories and traditions said that their earliest
settlement was much earlier than the period of Gautama Buddha (about 5000-6000 years B.P), and the coinages and inscriptions show that there were kings and city-states in Rakhine about the 4th century A.D. Most of the kings were, similar to Pyu kings, entitled with Suriya or Canda. Today, the historic buildings and ancient cities can be studied in Mrauk U, Vesali and so on while Sittway (Akyab formerly) is the capital of Rakhine State.

Kachin

Kachin

There is a beautiful polar temperate zone together with its unique ethic groups in tropic Myanmar.
Contemporary to the Dead Railway in southern Myanmar, Ledo Road was shaped to link India, Myanmar and China.
Kareinnaw view-point, Jawbum, Ayeyarwaddy confluence and ethnic villages in Myitkyina and its environs will surely impress to every new comer, together with Inndawgyi Lake, migratory birds and domesticated elephants.
Most westerners and travelers prefer to Putao, the gateway to icy mountains. It was hidden for decades and come up the discoveries of world unknown species, just like,
deer, orchids and so on. No luxurious accommodation would be surely facilitated but with striking ethnic groups, landscape, fruits and so on would usually be fantastic
experiences through trekking and adventure.
The only motto entitled to the secret world is “Incredible but unpredictable”.
 

Myeik

Myeik Archipelago

It is composed of over 800 various-size islands most of which are untouched Virgin Islands in their unspoiled nature. Recreation, entertainment at Adman Club, scuba-diving and snorkeling can be performed at pre-assigned points. Salon, once Semang is popularly known as sea-gypsy. Today, major attractions are their daily-life of collecting pearl, oysters and birdnets. They usually take their rain-retreat at Makyongalet village to the south of Lampi Island. Salon festival is held in January. Myeik archipelago is accessed via Kawthaung. Kawthaung and its environs should be enjoyed at Bayintaung hillock, cape-land, Maliwun water fall, natural spa, palm-oil nurseries and plantations.
